Scotland's longest established premier function band
Our Story
Formed in 2009, Klones are one of Scotland's longest established function bands. Based in Edinburgh and East Lothian, our line-up boasts music graduates, a former EMI signed recording artist, and a Playwright Studio Scotland award winner.
Over the years we've performed for everyone from individual celebrations to Blue Chip companies including Standard Life — at prestigious venues such as The Balmoral, Royal Botanical Gardens, Dalmahoy, The Hub, and The Scotsman.
In 2016 we became residents at The Jam House Edinburgh and were handpicked by Forth 1 Radio for their summer festival. In 2017 we supported multi-platinum soul artists The Real Thing, and in 2018 we headlined the opening night of Harley Davidson's Thunder In The Glens — Europe's largest HOG rally, drawing over 10,000 people to Aviemore.
Every performance is fully live. No recordings, no backing tracks. Ever.
No backing tracks. No recordings. Just five musicians and a packed dancefloor.
What We Offer
The complete Klones experience. A full live set tailored to your event, with our professional DJ and MC keeping things moving between sets, plus karaoke if you want it.
An electrifying hour of pure dancefloor-fillers with our saxophonist and lead guitarist riffing live over the top. Think big beats, soaring sax lines, and a room full of people who can't stop moving.
A full hour of traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing with our fiddle players. Dances are called — no prior experience needed. Everyone's up within minutes.
A stripped-back three-piece acoustic set for drinks receptions, or an instrumental guitarist for daytime events — a sophisticated alternative to the traditional harpist.
An hour built to fill the floor and keep it full.
The Musicians
A professional singer for over 25 years, Tony was an EMI recording artist in the late 90s, touring the UK and performing across Europe. He's also the band's DJ, compere, and social media voice.
A professional musician and tutor, Chris has performed on the same bill as James Arthur and appeared on BBC2. He holds a music degree from Napier University and has run workshops across the Lothians.
Playing since age 8, Glover graduated in Modern Musicianship and secured a London publishing deal for his original music before moving into covers. His five-string bass is the backbone of everything the band does.
Ben's keyboards add a whole new sonic dimension — from lush pads and classic organ tones to synth leads that bring the crowd to the dancefloor. His musicality and versatility make him an invaluable part of the core lineup.
The powerhouse at the back. Harry's tight, energetic playing underpins everything the band does — his instinctive feel for the room ensures the dancefloor stays packed from the first song to the last.
The Klones can expand and vary the lineup for your event. Our trusted deps bring extra colour, dynamics and versatility — whether that's a second vocalist, brass, fiddle, or extra guitar.
